Viper VT series

• The rigid monolithic cast-iron (Meehanite cast) bed of the Viper CNC turning center series provides maximum precision and reliability of the machine.
• Slant bed  30 °design with integrated stiffeners provide Viper exceptional stability under harsh cutting conditions and an optimal chip removal system. The reaction forces to cutting are minimized, which provides a high degree of accuracy.
• Both X/Z axes on Viper CNC turning centers consist of hardened and ground box-type guides of an inflated size.
• Fast feeds rates up to 20 m /min for the X/Z axes.
• The Viper’s VT spindle provide excellent surface finishes and extraordinary metal removal rates.
• High accuracy P4 grade angular contact thrust spindle bearings ensure precision turning during long-term operations.
• The drives provide the axle with maximum radial torque thanks to extremely accurate, zero clearances and ball screws with two nuts with a large diameter pre-tensioning.
